I am awestruck by the beauty and life that is inescapable in New Zealand!
The weather was wonderful today. I decided to take a walk down to the beach to read. Right by my NZ home there is a pathway to the beach. I didn't end up reading for long because it was just so pretty! The tide was back pretty far and I wanted to explore. I found snails, two other interesting creatures, as well as a bird.

This thing is actually alive! I wish I knew what it was! The picture below is what happened when I put it in water. It isn't the same one in both pictures though.
